Home & Away Gallery began operation in the year 2000, owned by David and Ann Shultz. As of September, 2025, we have shifted our focus to Wabanaki baskets from Maine. While we still have works of many kinds from other Indigenous nations, we will only be adding new baskets going forward. Accompanying this shift in focus is a change in name: our store and website will now be known as Baskets of time.

In 2016, David authored Baskets of Time, Profiles of Maine Indian Basket Makers.
