Collection: Native American Baskets

Native American baskets. Baskets of Time features the largest online selection of Wabanaki baskets from Maine: Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Micmac, and Maliseet. Wabanaki baskets have received recognition and exposure at national Native American markets including Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Indian Fair and Market in Phoenix.

Baskets of Time offers baskets by Wabanaki weavers, including Theresa Secord, Eric "Otter Bacon", Kenny Keezer, Pam outdusis Cunningham, Gabriel Frey, Gal Frey, Shane Perley-Dutcher, Geo Neptune, Frances Soctomah, Lydia Soctomah, Amanda Ennis, Shane Perly-Dutcher, Caleb Hoffman, Aron Griffith, Chance Griffith, Erica Menard, Dolly Barnes, and Sarah Sockbeson.

While most of the baskets we offer are made by living weavers, we are also privileged to obtain and sell baskets by deceased weavers such as Clara Keezer, Sylvia Gabriel, Clare Gabriel, Deborah Gabriel Brooks, Theresa Neptune Gardner, Butch Phillips, and more.

We also carry a small selection of Alaskan baskets, including grass and baleen, as well as baskets from other Native American nations, including origami baskets by Navajo artist Rain Scott.
