Jeremy Frey: Basket Maker. Artist. Innovator.

Jeremy Frey is a star basket maker whose work has been exhibited at and purchased by museums across the United States as well as globally. His work has also been shown at prestigious art fairs internationally. 

Grounded in a long history of basket design and weaving by the Wabanaki people of Maine, Frey's work is innovative and exciting, bringing new ideas and dimensions to the Indigenous basket weaving world.

Frey's creativity and innovation have been recognized and acknowledged across many fields. He was awarded a Macarthur grant (aka genius award) in 2025. He received an honorary PhD award from Bowdoin College in 2025 as well.
