A charming carving of a resting walrus carved from bone, has inlaid baleen eyes. The tusks, carved from walrus tusk, were recently carved to replace the lost originals. A plump and pleasing sculpture.
Materials: bone, walrus tusk, baleen; while the old tag on the bottom of the carving identifies it as whalebone, we can't verify this.
2 1/2 inches long x 1 7/8 inches wide x 1 1/4 inches high.
