Amelia Joe-Chandler Roundish Turquoise Ring

Amelia Joe-Chandler combines traditional cultural elements with a contemporary sense of design. This sterling silver ring with circle cutouts is set with a roundish turquoise cabochon. The stone is not exactly round, but we can't call it oval, so we call it roundish.

The matte finish is a signature of Joe-Chandler's creations. While not as polished as many jewelers' works, it tends to oxidize (tarnish) more slowly. The artist also hammers bezels, creating a more secure hold than the more common burnished bezel.

Ring is size 7 1/2. The platform the stone sits on is 1 1/8 inch by 1 inch x 1/4 inch high.
