This walrus tusk is adorned with native Alaskan animals in scrimshaw: a bald eagle, a snowy owl, an arctic bird (willow ptarmigan?) a golden eagle, and a pair of geese.. There are two inlaid baleen circles, and there is a hole on the reverse side where the tusk appears to have been attached to something.
