A charming bracelet with ivory plaques recently re-strung on a clear elastic band. The animals are a seal, two whales, a sled dog, and a walrus, all common in parts of Alaska.
The bracelet is signed by P. Ahkinga, Diomede, AK; Diomede has traditionally been the center of carved animal bracelets. It has an inside circumference of about 6 1/4 inches. It is approximately 5/8 inch wide.
