As expected of Eric Otter Bacon, this is a tightly woven and elegant curl basket. Woven from black ash with touches of sweetgrass, this is a typical fancy basket design in the Wabanaki tradition; Otter has added one innovation, which is fine strands of ash on the cover and the base. These fine weave touches provide the basket added elegance.
