Kevin Pourier is a master of bison horn carving and inlay. His art has won multiple awards at Santa Fe Indian Market as well as the Heard Museum Indian Fair and Market. His work is in the permanent collection of the National Museum of the American Indian.

The Lakota people used bison horn, as well as all other parts of this magnificent animal, to craft utilitiarian as well as decorative items for many centuries. These earrings are inlaid with malachite and lapis lazuli, and are shaped like blue monarch butterfly wings. Bison horn is very light, making these earrings a pleasure to wear.

Earrings are 1 3/4 inches high; add 1/2 inch to the height for the ear wires. They are 7/8 inch wide.
