Mary Tafoya creates innovative designs in mosaic which sets her apart from most other Santo Domingo pueblo artists. This necklace includes turquoise, pipestone, shell, coral, jasper, black jade, and lapis lazuli all arranged in an interesting geometric pattern.
The pendant is backed with serpentine, a signature Tafoya feature. The necklace, which primarily consists of shell beads of various colours, has touches of turquoise, pipestone, and jet. A sterling silver clasp complete this very attractive necklace.
