Mary Tafoya Kewa Santo Domingo Stacked Earrings

Mary Tafoya creates innovative designs in mosaic which sets her apart from most other Santo Domingo pueblo artists. These earrings include spiny oyster shell, turquoise, lapis lazuli, and gaspeite; the material on the back is jet.

The earrings are what the artist calls her stacked style, where materials are one on top of the other in a vertical shape.
