An attractive basket, woven from black ash with sweetgrass, and an added feature of tufted moose hair on the cover. A member of the Onondaga Nation, Goeman weaves in the Iroquois tradition. She adds individual touches such as the moose hair atop the basket as well as a stand made from antler with a carved owl, made by her husband, Stonehorse Goeman.
Basket is 8 1/2 inches diameter x 6 inches high; 7 1/2 inches high with moose hair. Antler is 10 inches x 8 inches x 8 inches.
