Palaya Qiatsuq Shaman with Helpers

A powerful sculpture by Cape Dorset's Palaya Qiatsuq, depicting a shaman with two helpers. The sculpture is carved primarily from dark green serpentine; one of the shamans is inlaid in a white marble background. Both shaman helpers are mounted on caribou antler posts.
