Frances Soctomah's grandmother was renowned basket maker Molly Neptune Parker. She is one of three grandchildren of Molly's that is actively weaving; the other two are Geo Neptune and Lydia Soctomah. It is wonderful to see a family tradition carried on and extended through the generations.
This point basket has a bright blue color, which is striking in combination with a dark bronze, natural colored splints, and sweetgrass. There is braided sweetgrass on the cover.
